Marisol's Role
Marisol oversees Thornton's accounting department and the day-to-day responsibilities. As the Controller, Marisol supervises financial and accounting functions with oversight of accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, job costing and payroll entries. She provides all of our project managers on Acumatica and Titanium software, prepares monthly work in progress reports for operations and accounting review and she organizes and manages monthly close process of the accounting team. In addition, she collaborates with the project management team to effective resolve potential project related issues.
Experience
Marisol is a business professional with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. She specializes in project cost analysis and accounting management and is skilled in client relations, accounting project management, and analytical financial analysis of project and corporate reporting. Marisol has exceptional analytic and problem-solving abilities and possesses a Masters of Business Administration degree from Florida International University.
