Sofia's Role
Sofia oversees Thornton's contracts department. As the Contract Manager, Sofia is responsible for managing all subcontracts that Thornton needs to procure for the successful completion of each project while tracking the proper operational processes having to do with the prequalification of subcontractors and the compliance of their certificates of insurance. She is also responsible for developing and implementing office policies and procedures to ensure the results are measured against our standards and making necessary adjustments along the way.
Experience
Sofia is a business professional with over 10 years of experience in business and office administration, budget and financial planning and project management in the construction industry. She successfully works in fast-paced environments that demand strong interpersonal and technical skills with a successful record of building and improving processes. She has an exceptional abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities and possesses a Masters of Business Administration degree from Millennia Atlantic University.
