This project took place at Memorial South Hospital. The scope of work entailed an interior renovation and expansion of a portion of the 6th floor within the hospital in order to provide more space for the growing existing Rehabilitation Department. Thornton’s work spanned over 9,549 SF, and included the reconfiguration of a waiting room, activity room, ADA-compliant restrooms, and med room. In addition, our scope included the replacement of individual Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units with a new central rooftop air conditioning unit. The remainder of the space within the suite received an upgrade to its finishes. Thornton also worked on the ground floor remodel which included the addition of an exterior 2-story glass solarium and an interior activity room. This project was inspected by AHCA and followed an ICRA plan.
