This project was built for Memorial Healthcare System’s Medical Graduate School to provide higher education to their medical student interns. The 570,330 square feet facility was built adjacent to a busy operational campus. It was fast-tracked and built in 11 months. To be a good neighbor to the city where the facility was built, special attention had to be provided during construction to avoid any interruptions to the existing campus. The project was a precast concrete structure which consisted of 6 stories and a multi-floor parking structure. The facility housed graduate level classrooms, 10 labs, an auditorium, kitchen/dining area, courtyards, administrative offices, athletic play courts, and connecting walkways.
