Cardio Vascular Adult & Pediatric Hybrid Operating Rooms

Overview

Thornton Construction completed this renovation within the Cardio Vascular Institute of Memorial Regional Hospital in order to create two new hybrid operating rooms and support rooms. One hybrid operating room was designated for adults and the other for pediatric operations. These Hybrid Operating Rooms are the latest in advanced medical technology. These Operating Rooms make part of a centralized computer network system which allows surgeons to access everything they need at the touch of a button. This advanced technology has a great impact on improving patient success and safety. The Hybrid Operating Rooms allow time to be saved during an operation and also reduce infection rates since the surgeon does not have a need to leave the operating room to gather information. Thornton completed this AHCA inspected project following an ICRA Level 4 plan.
