Thornton Construction built-out the 10th floor of building 6 of the Eduardo J. Padron Campus to create the Cloud 9 Academic Hub. Thornton’s work included new MEP’s, doors, windows, flooring and drywall. This hub serves as a computing center where technology leaders, industry experts and Miami Dade College students can engage. This will help expose students and IT professionals to industry leading cloud platforms and houses the only College Credit Certificate and Associate of Science degrees in Enterprise Cloud Computing in the State of Florida.
