The Steven J. Green School of International Public Affairs Phase II project consists of a new state-of-art, multi-story building adjoining the existing 5-story School of International Public Affairs (SIPA-I) building. The scope also requires a complete filling of the existing detention pond. The project includes an overall gross floor area of approximately 84,800 square feet. It will consist of exhibition galleries, classrooms, seminar rooms, flexible working areas, a vibrant gathering garden, administrative suites, and sustainable energy conservation strategies to meet LEED Gold. The structure is pre-cast concrete beams and columns, with architecture precast concrete panels for the exterior envelope. In addition, the new building will be connected to the existing SIPA-I building by an elevated glass-enclosed bridge.
